VDH-Europasieger-Show

Protected by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH)

  • Candidacy for the title „Deutscher Veteranen-Champion (VDH)“

* The title "VDH-Europasieger" entitles the holder to start in the Champion Class in connection with a candidacy for a Champion title obtained at another show.

  •     Qualifications for the title "German Champion (VDH)" count double.
  •     Reserve championships for the title "German Champion (VDH)" will be counted as normal championships.

Frühjahrssieger Show

International Show for all breeds of dog protected by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and the Verband fuer das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH)

  • Candidacy for the title „Deutscher Veteranen-Champion (VDH)“

(* The title “VDH European Winner”, entitles to start in the Champion class together with a challenge certificate for a champion title gained at a different show.

Only at the VDH European Winner Show in Dortmund:

  • Challenge certificates for the title “German Champion (VDH)” are counted double
  • Reserve challenge certificates for the title “German Champion (VDH)” are each valued as a regular challenge certificate

Title: “VDH Winner of the Year”

The title “VDH Winner of the Year” will be awarded to those dogs that awarded at least four CACIBs within the course of a calendar year – at least two of them at two different VDH show weekends (VDH-Europasieger- and Frühjahrssieger Show / Bundessieger- and Herbstsieger Show / German Winner Show and International Show / VDH Annual Trophy- and International Show) and at least two awarded at other International shows in Germany.

The title “VDH Winner of the Year” entitles to start in the Champion class. Applications can be made free of charge to the VDH.

Qualification for Crufts

The VDH Europasieger and Bundessieger exhibitions are the only two exhibitions in Germany where you can qualify for the Crufts. Authorization to launch Crufts is given to:

  • BOB and BOS
  • VDH-Europajugendsieger
  • BOB and BOS
  • Bundesjugendsieger

A certificate is awarded to each:

  • VDH European Winner 2023
  • VDH European Junior Winner 2023
  • VDH European Veteran Winner 2023
  • Spring Winner 2023
  • Spring Junior Winner 2023
  • Spring Veteran Winner 2023

A trophy is awarded to each:

  • VDH European Winner 2023
  • VDH European Junior Winner 2023
  • VDH European Veteran Winner 2023

A rosette is awarded to each:

  • Frühjahrssieger 2023
  • Frühjahrs-Jugendsieger 2023
  • Frühjahrs-Veteranensieger 2023
  • Best Veteran of the VDH European Winner Show 2023 as well as of the Frühjahrssieger-Ausstellung 2023 (handing out in the preliminary contest ring)
  • Best of Breed of the VDH European Winner Show 2023 as well as the Frühjahrssieger-Ausstellung 2023 (handing out in the preliminary contest ring)
